The Skin is a full version.
Before use, please make sure you have the latest version of Pocket Tunes (as of this writing, version 4.0.7) to avoid possible problems.
Also make sure that you have either Pocket Tunes Basic or Deluxe to allow the Display of Album Covers. The Bundle Version is not able to display Album Art!
This Skin is a port of iPod Touch for Pocket Tunes . Packed with features and compatible with extended Screens (hidden Graffiti), this Skin includes:
1:A List View - A View Displaying a List of your Songs.
2:A Cover Flow View - This view allows you to see the previous and next Album Covers. However, Pocket Tunes needs time to process this and therefore any currently playing audio will pause for a short time while this happens.
3:An Equalizer view.
4:A Track info View - A view showing Album Art and info on ths song that is currently selected.
5:A visualizations view.
6:A tools view.
7:And a menu view: by tapping on the TOUCH part of the skin name in the top righy corner you can see a menu screen that you can use to go to any of the skin views
Things to note about the Skin:
- This Skin has been coded and tested to the best of my ability. However, as it implements features which push the boundaries of Pocket Tunes skin designing, unexpected bugs and graphical artifacts may occur. Cover Flow features is mainly affected by this issue.
- If you notice slow performance with Cover Flow on your Palm, this can be due to 2 main reasons:
a. You have a Device with a slow processor. Some devices affected are the Palm Tungsten T1, T2, E and Zire 71. However, most newer devices have a fast Xscale processor which can handle the heavy demands put forth by the skin.
b. Pocket Tunes has problems reading tag information and Album Art data from a music file. This can be caused by poorly tagged audio files. It is suggested to use the method of saving the Album Art as a separate Folder.jpg image in the Album Folder as this will save storage and keep things Organized.
By default, if Gapless or Crossfade playback is enabled, the Cover Flow will be disabled, disabling Crossfade will turn it ON.
